Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience (circulating and/or scrubbing preferred)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic techniques and operating room protocols
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and sterile supplies are ready for surgical procedures
- Assist members of the surgical team and provide direct patient care during operations
- Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after surgery
- Keep accurate records related to patient care, procedures, and supplies
- Collaborate with surgical staff to maintain a safe, supportive environment
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies at all times
