Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience (circulating and/or scrubbing preferred)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic techniques and operating room protocols
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and sterile supplies are ready for surgical procedures
  • Assist members of the surgical team and provide direct patient care during operations
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after surgery
  • Keep accurate records related to patient care, procedures, and supplies
  • Collaborate with surgical staff to maintain a safe, supportive environment
  • Adhere to infection control and safety policies at all times
