The unit supports a wide array of surgical procedures except for burns, transplants, and heart surgeries. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, including trauma and vascular specialists
- Utilize Meditech EMR to document patient care accurately and timely
- Adhere to unit protocols and patient safety guidelines
- Support on-call nursing coverage as needed
