Job Description

Step into a dynamic operating room environment supporting a diverse range of surgical specialties. This contract role requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a robust background in perioperative care, specifically within a large multi-specialty main OR. The state-of-the-art department features 16 advanced operating rooms equipped for a comprehensive repertoire of proceduresfrom total joints and spine cases to complex transplants and robotic-assisted surgeries. Experience collaborative teamwork amid a seasoned clinical staff and the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology in a progressive setting.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Includes night and weekend call

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • Transplant OR experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-acuity surgical setting preferred
  • Certified perioperative nurse highly desired
  • Proficiency with Meditech EMR is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and circulate for surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, vascular, ENT, plastics, transplants, and robotics
  • Adhere to established unit guidelines and protocols ensuring patient safety and high-quality care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal surgical outcomes
  • Flexibly adapt to unit schedules and on-call demands as patient needs require
