Job Description

Provide expert perioperative care in a high-volume Main Operating Room at a prominent medical center in Englewood, CO. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a 408-bed hospital with a state-of-the-art surgical environment including 14 versatile ORs equipped with advanced Stryker video systems and other standard surgical technology. The Main OR team includes over 60 dedicated full-time staff, ensuring a collaborative and professional work atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently circulate as a Registered Nurse during a variety of surgical procedures, excluding transplants
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgical techs, CSTs, anesthesia techs, and clinical leadership
  • Maintain patient safety with a 1:1 patient ratio and uphold all unit policies and guidelines
  • Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate documentation of perioperative care

Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure with demonstrated ability to independently circulate in the OR
  • Preferred: CNOR certification and experience with Meditech EMR
  • Ability to scrub is a valuable asset
  • Adaptable and friendly personality with a commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care

Schedule:

  • Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
