Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract, varied shifts based on department needs
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- OR nursing experience preferred; CNOR strongly valued
- ACLS upon hire or active BLS with ACLS obtained within 60 days
- Excellent multitasking, communication, and collaboration skills; positive, proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative nursing care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing interventions
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team for optimal outcomes
- Maintain sterile fields and direct proper care of surgical supplies and instruments
- Safeguard patient privacy and dignity at all times
- Supervise or delegate nursing tasks as appropriate, ensuring adherence to hospital standards and protocols
- Engage in ongoing professional development and serve as a resource for colleagues
- Promptly identify and address safety issues, and ensure accurate documentation
