Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care, with experience in general, orthopedic, neurology, trauma, and ENT procedures. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the possibility of being on call, as shifts and days off will rotate. The start date is planned within the next 3 to 4 weeks.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Operating Room experience with a focus on General surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma, and ENT.
  • Pediatric experience is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to variable shifts and a flexible schedule.
  • Willingness to take call as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care in the Operating Room across multiple specialties.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to strict sterile techniques throughout procedures.
  • Respond to changing schedules with professionalism and flexibility.

Shift Details:

  • Day shifts of 4x10-hour blocks (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM).
  • Other shift options include 3x12-hour shifts with rotating days off, to be discussed during the interview.

This contract opportunity requires travel flexibility and a readiness to engage in a varying schedule that supports patient care needs dynamically.
