Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour evening shifts: 11:00 AM9:30 PM (rotating days off to meet unit needs)
- May include weekend shifts
- On-call: Approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month
- Flexible on time-off requests, provided missed shifts are made up
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum three years prior experience in operating room nursing
- Level I Trauma Center experience necessary
- Predominantly neuro-oriented skillsets (must have experience with at least three-fourths of the following):
- ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion)
- Anterior cervical fusion
- Craniotomy
- Kyphoplasty
- Laminectomy/discectomy
- Lumbar fusion
- XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion)
- Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
- First-time travelers welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for complex neuro and robotics-assisted surgical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma setting
- Adhere to stringent safety and sterile protocols
- Support patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
- Perform on-call duties as scheduled, responding swiftly to emergencies
