Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour evening shifts: 11:00 AM9:30 PM (rotating days off to meet unit needs)
  • May include weekend shifts
  • On-call: Approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month
  • Flexible on time-off requests, provided missed shifts are made up

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum three years prior experience in operating room nursing
  • Level I Trauma Center experience necessary
  • Predominantly neuro-oriented skillsets (must have experience with at least three-fourths of the following):
    • ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion)
    • Anterior cervical fusion
    • Craniotomy
    • Kyphoplasty
    • Laminectomy/discectomy
    • Lumbar fusion
    • XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion)
  • Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
  • First-time travelers welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub for complex neuro and robotics-assisted surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma setting
  • Adhere to stringent safety and sterile protocols
  • Support patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
  • Perform on-call duties as scheduled, responding swiftly to emergencies
