Job Description

Elevate your nursing career by providing exceptional care in the Operating Room as a Registered Nurse. In this contract role, you'll contribute your expertise and passion to a high-acuity team environment, delivering patient-focused care during complex surgical procedures.

Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week, 312-hour shifts
  • Day shifts: ThursdayFriday, 6:45 AM7:15 PM
  • Night shift: Saturday, 6:45 PM7:15 AM

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (annual renewal)
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience in similar trauma settings
  • At least 1 year as a travel OR RN
  • Strong proficiency in trauma, orthopedics, and robotic surgeries
  • Flexible to handle weekday, weekend, and holiday rotations, including call coverage
  • Completion and submission of skills checklist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and scrub during a variety of trauma, orthopedic, and robotic procedures
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure a safe, efficient OR environment
  • Administer patient care pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
  • Maintain compliance with best nursing practices and procedure protocols
  • Provide ongoing assessment, documentation, and communication of patient status
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards
