Elevate your nursing career by providing exceptional care in the Operating Room as a Registered Nurse. In this contract role, you'll contribute your expertise and passion to a high-acuity team environment, delivering patient-focused care during complex surgical procedures.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week, 312-hour shifts
- Day shifts: ThursdayFriday, 6:45 AM7:15 PM
- Night shift: Saturday, 6:45 PM7:15 AM
Qualifications:
- Active California RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (annual renewal)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience in similar trauma settings
- At least 1 year as a travel OR RN
- Strong proficiency in trauma, orthopedics, and robotic surgeries
- Flexible to handle weekday, weekend, and holiday rotations, including call coverage
- Completion and submission of skills checklist
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub during a variety of trauma, orthopedic, and robotic procedures
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure a safe, efficient OR environment
- Administer patient care pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
- Maintain compliance with best nursing practices and procedure protocols
- Provide ongoing assessment, documentation, and communication of patient status
- Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards
