This travel nursing role focuses on the operating room, working in a collaborative environment renowned for high standards and continuous professional development. You'll have the chance to strengthen your resume by engaging with advanced surgical procedures, innovative care models, and a dynamic leadership team. Flexibility is keywhile your primary site will be one facility, youll also support the main campus as needed, giving you valuable cross-facility insight and adaptability.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts/week
- Days: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- No on-call or weekend requirements (option to volunteer for additional call)
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico RN license or compact state RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- 1+ years recent OR nursing experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Must be willing to float between facilities as staffing requires
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-acuity perioperative nursing care utilizing the nursing process
- Independently manage both routine and complex cases, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Accurately document all care, medications, and procedures
- Participate in patient and family education, identifying needs and resources
- Demonstrate flexibility, strong communication, and team collaboration
