A Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room is needed to provide expert clinical care within a dynamic patient care team. This position involves coordinating and delivering patient-centered care, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency consistent with unit standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care specific to patient age and condition within the Operating Room and related perioperative settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain compliance with established protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and changing patient needs.
• Participate in unit activities and maintain professional development.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or a current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification and ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge and skills applicable to surgical and perioperative patient populations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and staff.
• Physical stamina to manage prolonged standing, patient positioning, and equipment handling.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Day shift: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM.
• Weekend and on-call requirements.
• Flexibility to float between different units as needed.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases under regulated safety standards.
• Clean, well-lit, and ventilated work environment.
