Schedule/Hours:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (7:00 AM3:30 PM preferred, but flexibility for 9:00 AM5:30 PM or 11:00 AM7:30 PM as needed)
• Rotating calls on nights and weekends (frequency varies based on staffing)

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active RN license and BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of recent OR circulating experience preferred
• Scrub background beneficial, but not necessary
• Competency with ortho, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, urology, spine, robotics, breast/plastics, and thoracic cases required
• Cardiac surgery experience a plus, but not required
• Excellent adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a circulating nurse in a fast-paced operating room
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and effective care
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique
• Prepare and position patients for surgical procedures
• Accurately document care in accordance with hospital policies
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
