This contract opportunity involves administering coordinated nursing care to patients both independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary staff. Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Experience working in an operating room setting
• Solid understanding of perioperative nursing standards and the nursing process
• Ability to supervise and direct nursing personnel of varying experience levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Supervise, mentor, and direct assigned nursing staff, promoting best practices and safety standards
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, document nursing interventions and responses
• Participate in all phases of perioperative care, including patient assessment, intraoperative assistance, and post-anesthesia evaluation
• Serve as a resource and clinical leader for less-experienced staff
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to reflect care delivered and patient progress
