Job Description

A dedicated registered nurse specializing in the operating room is sought to provide expert, compassionate care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This contract opportunity, based in La Mesa, CA, involves delivering individualized, holistic nursing care using the nursing process to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safety throughout the perioperative experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient and family assessments to identify and prioritize care needs.
  • Developing and implementing age and culturally appropriate nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Evaluating patient progress toward goals and modifying care plans as necessary.
  • Advocating for patients and families, supporting their participation in care decisions.
