This opportunity allows you to excel and grow as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, working on a high-performing surgical team at a hospital renowned for its clinical excellence and advanced medical technology. Working alongside skilled professionals in a regional referral center with diverse specialties facilitates exposure to different workplace practices, advanced surgical techniques, and varied leadership styles, helping you expand your clinical expertise and resume.
Schedule/Hours
- Orientation available weekly on Mondays
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum one year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Clear and complete background screenings before start
- Compliance with Pennsylvania fingerprinting and clearance (including Child Abuse History, Department of Human Services, FBI Department of Aging, and PA State Police Clearance)
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Ensure patient safety, maintain sterile techniques, and effectively support all perioperative phases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied health colleagues for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
