In this travel nursing role specializing in the Operating Room, youll be working varied shifts that ensure both professional variety and flexibility. Schedule:
- 36 or 40 hours per week
- 36 hrs: 09:0018:30 or 06:0018:30
- 40 hrs: 08:0018:30
- Rotating call: weeknights every 12 weeks, weekends every 45th weekend (30-minute response time)
- Holiday rotation included
- Hired shift may be flexed to department needs; blocked days not guaranteed
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of one year recent Operating Room experience
- BLS required; additional OR certifications preferred
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic OR schedule
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical equipment is sterile and ready
- Provide intraoperative care, supporting surgeons and anesthesiologists
- Monitor patient safety and respond to emergencies
- Maintain thorough and precise documentation
- Collaborate across disciplines for comprehensive continuum of care
