In this role, youll work in an advanced operating room environment, supporting a high-acuity team with cutting-edge orthopedic equipment. Exposure to diverse cases, including arthroscopies, total joints, and trauma, means you'll expand your clinical skillset and gain invaluable experience collaborating with healthcare leaders. With a patient ratio of 1:1 in the OR and supportive staff, you will be empowered to deliver outstanding patient care while broadening your professional repertoire.
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible options: Choose between 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts
- On-call commitment: 6 call shifts over a 4-week period
- No floating required
Qualifications/Experience
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- TNCC certification required at time of submission (no grace period)
- Orthopedic RN and trauma orthopedic experience a must
- Advanced skills with orthopedic procedures such as arthroscopies, total joints, ortho trauma
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic surgical cases
- Effectively use and troubleshoot advanced OR equipment
- Maintain detailed, accurate records using Meditech
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
