Schedule & Hours:
- Daylight shifts, rotating weekly: 5:30am2:00pm; 6:30am3:00pm; and 7:30amfinish (approx. 4:004:30pm, based on volume and add-ons)
- On-call weekend shifts: 6:00am6:00pm (2 weekends required every 6 weeks; call coverage only, not typically busy)
- Weekday call not required, but flexibility needed to stay past shift on occasion for add-on cases
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Two years of recent Operating Room experience required
- Proficient in orthopedic procedures highly preferred
- Strong adaptability and teamwork skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and assist in a variety of orthopedic surgeries
- Function as an integral part of a small, collaborative surgical team
- Provide safe, evidence-based care before, during, and after surgery
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
- Demonstrate flexibility to remain past scheduled shifts for urgent add-on procedures as needed
