Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year of Operating Room nursing experience
- Advanced knowledge of perioperative clinical skills and patient safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective nursing care for surgical patients throughout all phases of the perioperative process
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Prepare the OR and assist with instrumentation, equipment, and sterile procedures
- Monitor and document patient status, maintaining strict adherence to safety standards
- Maintain clear, accurate patient records and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Support and comfort patients and their families before, during, and after procedures
