Taking on this travel nursing role as an Operating Room Registered Nurse means being at the heart of dynamic surgical procedures and expanding your professional horizons through exposure to a variety of workplace practices and leadership styles. Schedule & Hours:
- Day shifts
- 10-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Indiana
- At least 2 recent years of Operating Room experience
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Calm and detail-oriented, especially in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team for safe, efficient procedures
- Prepare operating rooms and support patient positioning/prep
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications or anesthesia under physician direction
- Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation
- Promote a positive, patient-centered environment for patients and families
