This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room procedures with a focus on liver and transplant surgeries. The position requires strong expertise in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases, along with proficiency in MISONIX/CUSA equipment. Candidates must be skilled in organ implantation, not just harvesting, ensuring critical transplant procedures are performed with precision.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of direct liver/transplant Operating Room RN experience required
- Required certifications at time of submission: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
- Proficiency in MISONIX/CUSA essential
- Experience with organ reimplantation (not solely organ harvesting) mandatory
- Nicotine-free compliance as this is a smoke-free facility
- Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week for 3 twelve-hour shifts (11:00 AM to 11:30 PM)
- On-call requirement: 1 shift per week plus 2 weekend 12-hour shifts monthly
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room during complex transplant surgeries, including liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and successful organ transplantation
- Prioritize completion of required time-sensitive training modules promptly
- Float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
