Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in an operating room setting
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field and ensure proper instrument counts
- Monitor patient condition and advocate for their safety and comfort
- Thoroughly document procedures and patient responses
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility safety protocols
