Key Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license (state or compact) in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an OR RN in an acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic surgical team
- Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring safety and optimum outcomes
- Circulate and scrub as needed, maintaining sterile field and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff for efficient case flow
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes
- Accurately document procedures and care given in patient records
- Support the surgical team in pre-op and post-op preparation
