Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an Operating Room environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, patient safety, and perioperative protocols
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary surgical teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub as required, adhering to operating room policies and standards
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold infection control measures at all times
• Document patient care thoroughly and promptly in accordance with facility guidelines
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and other OR staff to anticipate needs and optimize patient outcomes
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
