Schedule:
- 4 Days, 10-Hour Shifts (6:30am 3:00pm)
- No mandatory weekends; optional additional call at main campus
- Expectation to stay and finish scheduled cases if they run late
- Must be flexible to float between primary and main campus OR as needed
Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of operating room RN experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Provide education and emotional support for patients and their families
- Accurately document all care, interventions, and treatments
- Collaborate, delegate, and manage assignments to ensure outstanding patient outcomes
- Administer and monitor medications and treatments per protocol
