As an Operating Room Registered Nurse in this dynamic setting, youll collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, encountering a wide variety of cases that will deepen your expertise and expand your clinical competencies. Schedule:
- Days: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- On-call responsibilities included
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Familiarity with rights-based care and effective communication across developmental stages
Skills & Experience:
- Recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- Proven ability to manage crisis and emergency care situations
- Adaptability to shifting schedules and patient needs
- Strong teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate safe, evidence-based perioperative care for surgical patients of all ages
- Ensure adherence to unit and organizational standards, policies, and objectives
- Advocate for patients rights and provide compassionate, culturally competent care
- Participate in the education of patients, families, and fellow staff
- Maintain precise records and documentation
