Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current MA RN license required
  • O.R. nursing experience; CNOR preferred
  • ACLS upon hire, or active BLS with AHA ACLS required within 60 days
  • Strong communication, multitasking skills, and a proactive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions in the perioperative setting
  • Collaborate with surgery teams to ensure safety and optimal outcomes for patients during procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique and manage surgical instruments and supplies
  • Provide patient and family education while respecting dignity and fostering a healing environment
  • Accurately document interventions, patient responses, and coordinate thorough handoffs to healthcare team members
  • Prioritize patient safety, respond effectively in emergencies, and actively support infection prevention protocols
