Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an operating room setting
- Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and sterile techniques
- BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases
- Prepare and maintain operating room environment for patient safety
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff for seamless procedures
- Monitor and evaluate patient status pre, intra, and post-op
- Meticulously document patient care and surgical activities
- Uphold infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
