Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in an operating room setting
• Proficient knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and aseptic technique
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub during surgeries, ensuring safe patient care and adherence to protocols
• Prepare the OR, including instruments and sterile supplies, for various surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for seamless case flow
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, reporting changes as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with policies and standards
• Safeguard patient safety and confidentiality at all times
• Assist with post-anesthesia care and implement physician orders
• Participate actively in infection control and quality improvement initiatives
