A specialized registered nurse position is available in the Operating Room with direct focus on liver and transplant cases. This role requires solid experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplants, including proficiency in re-implanting organs and operation of Misonix/CUSA equipment. Expertise in these areas is mandatory and verified through a skills checklist. Candidates without this critical transplant experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Perform perioperative nursing care specific to transplant surgeries, primarily liver and abdominal organ transplants.
- Manage intraoperative duties with precision under high-stakes conditions.
- Participate in on-call rotations including one shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts monthly.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital protocols including smoke-free facility regulations and mandatory negative drug/nicotine screening.
- Complete required time-sensitive training modules promptly upon assignment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years direct RN experience in liver/transplant OR nursing.
- Active ACLS, BLS certifications; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
- Proven proficiency with Misonix/CUSA technology.
- Demonstrated experience in both harvesting and re-implantation of organs.
- Ability to float within scope of practice to support facility needs.
- Pending licenses are accepted, with all requested time off disclosed upfront.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week scheduled as 3x12-hour day shifts (11:00 AM 11:30 PM)
- Additional rotating weekend hours.
