Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN License (valid in Virginia or compact state license)
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room setting required
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Proficient in scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Exceptional critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality perioperative care, including patient assessment, intraoperative and postoperative management
  • Support surgical teams with preparation, instrumentation, and patient monitoring
  • Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
  • Communicate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic medical records
