In this travel nursing opportunity, you'll work alongside dedicated surgical teams and skilled leaders. Gain invaluable experience by participating in a variety of operative cases, expanding your resume with new practices, and gaining exposure to diverse surgical protocols and leadership styles. Schedule:
- 36 or 40 hours per week, based on department needs
- Shifts: 0900-1830 or 0600-1830 (36 hours), 0800-1830 (40 hours)
- Weeknight call approximately every 1-2 weeks
- Weekend call rotation approximately every 4-5th weekend
- 30-minute response time for call shifts
- Holiday rotation included
- Hired shift may be flexed; blocked days off not guaranteed
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Current RN license, in good standing
- At least 1 year of operating room experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure surgical situations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care during all phases of perioperative services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for safe and efficient patient care
- Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with surgical team
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling as needed
