This Operating Room RN role offers professional growth through exposure to a diverse, 23-suite OR department, handling a broad array of elective surgical procedures including ortho/spine, general, CV, plastics, GYN, robotics, and urology. The main OR is renowned for its collaborative, dynamic day shift teams and robust support staff structurewith an emphasis on strong teamwork, flexibility, and ongoing learning.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with minimum one year of recent acute care Operating Room RN experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Ortho/spine and CV surgery experience preferred
- Excellent adaptability, positivity, and collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical cases, maintaining strict patient safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff for seamless patient care
- Uphold high standards of sterile technique and surgical procedure protocols
- Provide individualized patient assessments and intraoperative documentation
- Contribute to a strong team culture and support peer development
