Job Description

Skilled Registered Nurses with experience in the Operating Room are needed to support surgical teams and deliver high-quality, compassionate care throughout the surgical process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, efficient nursing care before, during, and after surgery
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers by preparing and monitoring the surgical environment
  • Maintain sterile field and enforce infection control protocols
  • Administer medications and closely monitor patient vital signs
  • Document all aspects of perioperative care accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and recovery room staff to ensure seamless patient transitions
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and changing patient conditions

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience as an OR RN required; additional surgical specialties are a plus
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Sound knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive within interdisciplinary teams
