Professionally, working in a 284-bed, fast-paced Main Operating Room presents the chance to collaborate with an experienced, close-knit team and learn from varied leadership styles. The unit utilizes advanced technologies (Meditech EMR) and performs a wide array of procedureseverything except burns, transplants, and heartsguaranteeing exposure to diverse surgical cases. Those passionate about expanding their clinical, trauma, and vascular case expertise will find extraordinary opportunities to strengthen their skills and cultivate adaptability.
Schedule:
- 7:00 PM 7:00 AM shifts
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active RN license with Operating Room nursing experience
- Proficient with Meditech EMR
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Trauma and vascular experience highly regarded
- Easygoing, adaptable, and self-motivated personality preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for surgical cases, collaborating with a dynamic night shift team
- Deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered care in high-acuity situations
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff
- Respond quickly to emergencies and support on-call needs as required
- Observe hospital guidelines and participate in continued quality improvement initiatives
