Job Description

Step into a dynamic Operating Room environment known for advanced surgical procedures and a collaborative atmosphere. This contract role requires skilled registered nurses to support comprehensive patient care in a bustling 16-suite main OR, leveraging the latest medical technology and equipment.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
  • Includes night and weekend call

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Proven transplant operating room experience is essential
  • 3+ years of perioperative nursing strongly preferred
  • Certification in perioperative nursing (preferred)
  • Competency with complex surgical procedures, including:
    • Total joints and spine surgery
    • Kidney and liver transplants
    • Robotic-assisted surgery
    • Vascular, ENT, and plastic procedures
  • Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records

Role Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and assist in a 16-suite OR for a variety of high-acuity cases
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to provide seamless patient care
  • Prepare the operating room and maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
  • Document procedures and ongoing assessments accurately in EMR
  • Respond quickly to intraoperative emergencies and support the surgical team before, during, and after procedures
