A healthcare opportunity in the Operating Room awaits a Registered Nurse with expertise in surgical environments. This contract position is based in Englewood, CO, and requires a current DORA license prior to submission.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with Operating Room experience
- BLS certification is mandatory
- Proficiency with orthopedic, spine, DaVinci, Mako, Globus, and laparoscopic procedures preferred
- Experience with Stryker equipment and Meditech EMR advantageous
- Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
Location Details: The role is situated within a well-equipped surgical unit featuring 4 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite. The team consists of a mix of full-time and part-time Registered Nurses, Certified Surgical Technologists, Environmental Services, and Sterile Processing professionals, fostering a supportive and efficient working environment. The operating rooms utilize advanced technology and equipment, ensuring high standards of patient care. Light blue scrubs are provided onsite in accordance with the dress code.
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
- Collaborate with surgical teams during orthopedic, spine, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted procedures
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of surgical equipment
- Adhere strictly to unit policies and guidelines
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
