Embarking on an assignment in this operating room setting is a pivotal move for ambitious RNs passionate about surgical care. Youll engage with diverse teams and observe a variety of proceduresbroadening your perspective on leadership styles and workplace practices. With hands-on exposure to vascular cases and opportunities to cross-train in specialties like ortho, robotics, and plastics, you'll strengthen your credentials and stand out as a highly skilled surgical nurse.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four call shifts per 6-week cycle
• Includes 2 weekday calls and 2 independent weekend day/night calls every 6 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and support a dynamic range of surgical cases in an acute care OR
• Prioritize patient safety and maintain surgical integrity throughout procedures
• Collaborate efficiently with the multidisciplinary team
• Deliver superior nursing care for vascular, orthopedic, robotic, and plastics cases
• Adapt and respond effectively to the changing needs of surgical patients

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with eligibility to practice in MD
• Minimum 2 years OR RN experience in an acute care environment
• Demonstrated vascular surgical experience (required)
• Experience in ortho, robotics, and plastics preferred
• Scrub experience is beneficial, but not required
• Able to fulfill specific on-call rotation as outlined
