Schedule/Hours:
- Shift Time: 6:30am 3:00pm
- Days: Monday Friday
- On Call: 1-2 days per week; 2 weekends per month
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (required)
- BSN degree (highly desired)
- Current RN license in the state/district (required)
- PALS, BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience (required)
- Must reside at least 100 miles away from assignment location
Responsibilities:
- Perform scrubbing and circulating duties during operative procedures
- Admit and prepare patients for surgery within the operating suite
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and established standards
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, team members, patients, and families
- Coordinate preoperative and postoperative care planning
- Prepare and maintain a sterile and organized environment; ensure equipment functionality and availability of required supplies/implants
