Schedule/Hours:
- Travel positionspecific schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Two or more years of Operating Room experience
- Strong working knowledge of perioperative standards and best practices
- Demonstrated commitment to punctuality and dependable attendance
- Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
- BLS required; additional certifications (such as CNOR) preferred
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
- Maintain strict adherence to attendance and timeliness; the facility upholds a three-strike attendance policy
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and supplies
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and allied health professionals
- Document patient care and relevant events accurately
- Respond swiftly and effectively to patient needs and emergencies
