Schedule Details:
- Shift: 6:30 am 3:00 pm
- Days: Monday through Friday
- On-call: 1-2 days per week, 2 weekends per month
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (required)
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
- Current registered nurse license to practice in jurisdiction (required)
- Minimum 3 years operating room nursing experience
- PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications (required)
- Must reside at least 100 miles from Eagle Pass, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform circulating and/or scrub duties during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team to plan and implement intraoperative care
- Ensure adherence to all aseptic and safety protocols
- Serve as a communication liaison for patients, families, and the operating team
- Prepare and organize the operating room, verifying equipment functionality and availability of necessary supplies and implants
- Participate in department admissions and maintain surgical documentation
