Deliver specialized, evidence-based nursing care in the dynamic environment of a hospital operating room. Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, valid RN license
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience in operating room nursing strongly preferred
• Proficient in the nursing process and patient assessment, particularly within surgical settings
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient and family-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical nursing care consistent with professional practice standards and hospital protocols
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain awareness of the latest advances in operating room nursing
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate care effectiveness and plan necessary adjustments
• Organize, prioritize, and deliver care to patients and families with diverse and complex needs
• Utilize point-of-care testing and ensure careful documentation and continuity of care
• Engage in discharge planning by assessing and communicating patients and families ongoing needs
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and secure operating environment
• Actively participate in performance improvement activities and in achieving unit and personal professional development goals
• Stay informed of current research and best practices relevant to perioperative nursing
