Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience in Durham, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work within a Level II Trauma center and a busy outpatient surgery environment, providing excellent hands-on experience and professional growth. The role includes flexibility to float between Med/Surg, Critical Care, and the main OR as needed, supporting a collaborative and dynamic healthcare team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current California Board of Registered Nursing licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
  • Successful completion of prior travel nursing assignments
  • Current CPR certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and protocols within the Level II Trauma Center
