An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room. This contract position calls for a proactive professional to be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality, and safe patient care.

As an Operating Room RN, you will work collaboratively in a dynamic surgical setting, guided by best practices, the Professional Practice Model, and the highest standards set forth by state and national nursing organizations. Your clinical expertise will be central to supporting excellent surgical outcomes, advocating for patients, and upholding policies and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure a seamless operative process
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and implement physician orders with precision
• Maintain strict adherence to policies, procedures, and surgical safety protocols
• Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere, maintaining open communication with patients and their families
• Support nursing unit and facility service excellence goals

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia RN license, in good standing
• Minimum of one year operating room nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification (additional certifications may be required)
• Strong knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
