Working in the Operating Room as a Registered Nurse here means being exposed to a wide variety of surgical specialtiesorthopedics, general, urology, neurosurgery, and ENTallowing you to sharpen your clinical expertise and collaborate with professionals from a range of backgrounds. Expand your nursing skills in circulating, and scrubbing if you have interest, all while gaining valuable experience that elevates your resume. On your days off, take advantage of the regions hiking trails, golf courses, or explore charming local cafs and markets.
Schedule/Hours:
- Must be available to take On-Call as needed
Qualifications/Required Experience:
- Valid RN licensure
- Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
- OR circulating experience required; scrubbing is a plus
- Experience with ortho, general, urology, neuro, and ENT cases preferred
- Adaptability and excellent teamwork skills
- Strong communicator under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate or scrub as part of a skilled OR team
- Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile environments
- Support surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures
- Document procedures accurately and efficiently
- Respond to emergent situations while on-call
