Experience professional development by working in a high-acuity, 408-bed surgical environment equipped with modern technology such as Stryker Video systems and the Meditech EMR platform. The main operating room suite features 14 operative suitesincluding a Hybrid CV OR and dedicated Cysto roomalongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Take your OR nursing expertise to new heights as you collaborate with skilled RNs, CSTs, anesthesia techs, and clinical leadership.
Engage with diverse surgical cases, enhance your clinical skills, and gain exposure to a variety of workplace practices and leadership styles, all while expanding your resume. This assignment is ideal for nurses ready to step into a fast-paced, supportive environment prioritizing excellent patient outcomes and open communication.
Schedule:
- Day shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- On-call: One weekday evening (5 PM - 7 PM), with weekend on-call rotation every six weeks
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent hospital acute care experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Strongly preferred: Scrub and circulate experience, Meditech proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures
- Work closely with a diverse operative team in high-volume suites
- Maintain patient safety and excellent outcomes in a 1:1 patient ratio environment
- Adhere to unit policies and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
