This role is based in a high-performing Spine and Joint Center, featuring state-of-the-art surgical suites and a renowned International Hip Preservation Center. With three dedicated operating rooms and a supportive clinical team, youll work alongside seasoned professionals and benefit from collaborative practices that broaden your skills and deepen your clinical acumen. Exposure to leading-edge technology and diverse cases ranging from complex spine fusions to total joint replacements allows you to add exceptional experience to your resume and sharpen your adaptability in fast-paced surgical environments.
Schedule/Hours
- Typical shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Call shifts: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday-Friday), no overnight on-call
Qualifications & Experience
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of operating room experience in an acute care hospital
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in spine and joint procedures required
- Preferred: Joint scrub experience and prior Meditech EMR familiarity
Role Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub on spine and total joint cases, including advanced procedures such as spine fusions and ALIFs
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative teams to ensure optimal patient safety
- Adhere to rigorous clinical protocols while maintaining flexible communication with providers and support staff
- Respond within 30 minutes while on call for urgent surgical needs
