This travel nursing position in a bustling Main Operating Room encompasses exposure to a facility featuring 23 state-of-the-art surgical suites, supported by a dedicated staff of about 70 professionals. Engage with a collaborative team culture known for flexibility, outstanding work ethic, and mutual support. The hospital leverages advanced OR equipment and uses Meditech for electronic medical records, allowing you to strengthen your tech competency alongside clinical expertise.
Working in this fast-paced OR means you'll collaborate directly with experienced surgical nurses and multi-disciplinary teams, handling a diverse array of elective proceduresincluding Ortho/Spine, Cardiovascular, General, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology. Expand your resume with new case types, broaden your adaptability to different specialties, and enhance your ability to navigate a wide range of leadership and workflow styles.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- RN license
- Minimum of one year of current acute care Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Preferred: Ortho/Spine and CV background
General Duties:
- Provide direct perioperative care on a 1:1 patient-nurse ratio
- Circulate and/or scrub in diverse surgical cases
- Collaborate across disciplines for optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies and best practices
