Job Description
Step into an engaging opportunity as a skilled operating room registered nurse. This assignment features 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and includes night and weekend on-call responsibilities, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is based in a main operating room equipped with 16 state-of-the-art suites and relies on the Meditech EMR platform to support efficient and safe patient care.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Night and weekend call required
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Advanced transplant skill set (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience preferred
- Certification in perioperative nursing highly valued
Desired Experience:
- Proficiency with complex procedures such as total joints, spine surgeries, kidney and liver transplants, robotics, vascular interventions, ENT, plastics, and more
- Strong adaptability to various surgical specialties and paced clinical environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a multidisciplinary surgical setting
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied staff to promote optimal surgical outcomes
- Prepare, monitor, and assist in a variety of procedures following precise unit policies and medical guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety
