Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to support a dynamic surgical team in Denver, CO. This contract role involves working in a modern, well-equipped Operating Room unit specializing in orthopedic and minimally invasive procedures including Davinci and Mako technologies. Candidates must possess a current DORA nursing license prior to application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, CSTs, and support staff to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as Stryker systems effectively.
  • Comply with unit guidelines including strict dress code standards, with scrubs provided onsite.
  • Participate actively in maintaining a teamwork-driven, collaborative atmosphere.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Operating Room specialization.
  • Current BLS certification mandatory.
  • Experience with orthopedic, spine, laparoscopic, Davinci robotic, Mako robotic, and Globus procedures preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work seamlessly in a team-based environment.

Location: Based in Denver, CO, this assignment is situated in a first-class surgical unit with 4 operating rooms plus an endoscopy suite. Schedule:

  • Day shift, 7 AM to 5 PM.
