Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position (assignment length and shift details provided during hiring process)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Work alongside surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Prepare, organize, and maintain operating room equipment and supplies
- Adhere to strict aseptic and infection control protocols
- Continually assess patient status and respond rapidly to evolving clinical needs
- Communicate clearly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Document care accurately and in compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum one year of recent Operating Room/Perioperative nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
